Q: "How do I request courses from AFIADL?" (updated 1 July 06)

Information about Air Force Institute for Advanced Distributed Learning (AFIADL) courses available to CAP members can be found at the institute's website: www.maxwell.af.mil/au/afiadl
The Air University's Registrar's Office now has an electronic version of the course enrollment form. Visit the AFIADL web site and click on the "IMTs & Forms" link on the left-hand side. Download either the new AU IMT 23 (requires PureEdge Reader 7.0 or higher) or AU 23 (requires Adobe Acrobat 7.0 or higher).
This form will enhance the correspondence course enrollment process or all. Discontinue using all other paper versions of the AFIADL Form 24 and ECI Form 23 as faxed enrollments are no longer being accepted. end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
CAP members can only register for one AFIADL course at a time.
It takes from 2 to 4 weeks to obtain course materials, tests, and notification of course completion from AFIADL. With this in mind, do not wait until you complete a course before requesting the examination. Estimate when you will be ready for the test and request it in advance.
As of 1 January 2005, AFIADL has stopped responding to requests for assistance made on paper AFIADL Form 17. The only AFIADL Forms 17 that will be processed are requests are requests for instructional INQUIRES to be forwarded by AFIADL to the course author.
